Drug price comparison between Thailand and the United States Abstract A summary of the resource. การศึกษาราคายานำเข้าจากสหรัฐอเมริกาการศึกษาราคายานำเข้าจากสหรัฐอเมริกาเป็นการเปรียบเทียบราคายาที่จำหน่ายในสหรัฐอเมริกาแล้วนำเข้ามาจำหน่ายในประเทศไทย โดยมีกลุ่มตัวอย่างในการศึกษามี 209 รายการ มาดำเนินการเปรียบเทียบราคายาได้ 3 วิธีคือ การเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของราคายาด้วยราคาจริงเป็นรายตัวการเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของราคาจริงเป็นรายกลุ่มและการเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของราคายาเป็นรายกลุ่มด้วยค่า PPP(Purchasing Power Parity) การวิเคราะห์ราคาเป็นรายตัว พบว่ามียา 17 รายการ ที่ของไทยแพงกว่าสหรัฐอเมริกา ยากลุ่มนี้มีรายงานนำเข้า 14 รายการ เป็นมูลค่า 453,730,057 บาท เป็นยาฉีด 10 รายการจำแนกได้เป็นยาปฏิชีวนะ 5 รายการ ยาเกี่ยวกับโรคเอดส์และไวรัส 4 รายการ ที่เหลือเป็นยาที่ใช้เฉพาะทาง เช่น วัคซีน ยากระตุ้นหัวใจ ฯลฯ กลุ่มยาที่มีราคาในไทยสูงกว่าราคาในสหรัฐมีมูลค่าการนำเข้าประมาณ 500 ล้านบาท เมื่อจำแนกการวิเคราะห์เป็นกลุ่มต่างๆ พบว่า กลุ่มยาใหม่ มีความแตกต่างของราคายาเพียงร้อยละ 20.0 แต่กลุ่มยาเก่ามีความแตกต่างของราคายาถึงร้อยละ 44.4 ยากลุ่มที่เกี่ยวข้องกับโรคเอดส์และไวรัส มีราคาสูงกว่าในสหรัฐอเมริการ้อยละ 0.6 กลุ่มอื่นที่มีความแตกต่างของราคาน้อยได้แก่ กลุ่มยาลดความดันโลหิต(18.7) กลุ่มยาจิตและประสาท(13.2) และกลุ่มยามะเร็ง(28.1) เมื่อนำค่า PPP มาพิจารณาค่าร้อยละความแตกต่างของราคายา พบว่า ยานำเข้าจากสหรัฐอเมริกาส่วนใหญ่มีราคาแพงกว่าราคาในสหรัฐอเมริกา
